Writer Service Agreement for Writerprox

This Writer Service Agreement ("Agreement") is made between Writerprox ("the Company") and the Writer ("Writer") who agrees to provide content writing services to the Company. By accepting and signing this agreement, the Writer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. Scope of Work

The Writer agrees to provide content writing services as requested by the Company, which may include but are not limited to essays, research papers, blog posts, articles, academic papers, white papers, business plans, and other written materials as needed. The Writer agrees to perform the services in a professional, timely, and high-quality manner.

2. Writer’s Responsibilities

• Quality of Work: The Writer agrees to provide original, plagiarism-free, well-researched, and high-quality content that meets the specifications provided by the Company.

• Research: The Writer must conduct thorough research for each project to ensure content is accurate and up-to-date.

• Formatting and Citations: The Writer agrees to format all content according to the style requested by the Company (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.) and ensure proper citations.

• Timeliness: The Writer will deliver all work within the agreed-upon deadlines. If delays are anticipated, the Writer must notify the Company in advance.

• Revisions: The Writer agrees to make revisions to the content if requested by the Company, ensuring the final product meets the required standards.

• Confidentiality: The Writer agrees to keep all client and Company information confidential. Any content, documents, or discussions related to projects are to remain private and cannot be shared with third parties.

3. Payment and Compensation

• Rate: The Writer’s compensation will be based on the rates agreed upon between the Writer and the Company before starting the project. Rates may vary depending on the complexity of the project and length of the content.

• Payment Terms: Payments will be processed after the work is submitted, reviewed, and accepted by the Company. Payment will be made via the agreed-upon method.

• Revisions and Payment: Additional payment may be provided for extensive revisions that fall outside the original scope of work, as determined by the Company.

4. Ownership of Content

• Rights to Content: Upon receiving full payment for the work, the Writer agrees to transfer all rights, ownership, and copyright of the written content to the Company. The Company has the right to use, modify, and publish the content without further compensation to the Writer.

• Writer’s Portfolio: The Writer may use the content in their portfolio or as writing samples, provided the Company’s identity and any proprietary information are not disclosed.

5. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure

• The Writer agrees to maintain strict confidentiality about all aspects of the work and any sensitive information related to the Company's clients or projects. This includes but is not limited to:

o Personal data of clients or users.

o Internal policies and processes of the Company.

o All written materials, drafts, and content produced for the Company.

6. Independent Contractor Status

• The Writer is considered an independent contractor and not an employee of the Company. As such, the Writer is responsible for their own taxes, benefits, and insurance. The Company will not provide any employee benefits or assume any liability for the Writer’s actions outside of the work being completed for the Company.

7. Termination of Agreement

• Either party may terminate this agreement at any time with written notice. If the Writer is in the process of completing a project, they must finish the project or provide notice of termination before the deadline, and compensation will be made for any completed work.

• The Company may terminate this agreement immediately if the Writer fails to meet deadlines, provides subpar quality work, or breaches the terms of this agreement.

8. Revisions and Disputes

• If a client requests revisions to the content, the Writer is required to make changes according to the feedback provided. If the content does not meet the quality or specifications agreed upon, the Company reserves the right to request revisions or request a full refund from the Writer.

• Any disputes regarding payment or content quality will be addressed promptly by the Company. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Company will be final.

9. Compliance with Laws

• The Writer agrees to comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and copyright rules when creating and submitting content to the Company. Any work that violates copyright laws or constitutes plagiarism is strictly prohibited.

10. Amendments

• The terms of this Agreement may be amended by the Company at any time. Any amendments or updates will be provided to the Writer in writing. Continued acceptance of work after an amendment constitutes the Writer’s acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

• This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Company operates. Any legal action or disputes shall be handled in the appropriate courts in that jurisdiction.

12. Acceptance of Terms

• By accepting work or beginning to provide services, the Writer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions outlined in this Writer Service Agreement.
